Subject: [CR]Beware team jerseys on Australian eBay

There are currently at least two sellers offering on Australian eBay a variety of jerseys of major European teams. Many of the jerseys are Off-topic, but included is at least one team, Kelme, which reaches back into the classic era, and another, Once, which may do.

I bought one jersey from one seller and several from another. I received them in the last two days and am not happy. Most jersesys carry the logos of major European manufacturers Santini, Nalini and Giordana, said logos shown in the eBay photos, but they were not in fact made by these companies. They do not carry the tags of these manufacturers inside the garment, but a cheap paper tag of a company called Austy. Either these are outright counterfeits or they are inferior copies produced under licensing deals. If the first, it is illegal to sell them at all. If the second, this should have been disclosed in the auctions.

I've contacted the seller of the multiple jerseys to express my unhappiness. We'll see how he responds. Meantime, be aware these are not as represented. The prices were pretty good, and for the price the quality is not totally terrible, but you are definitely not receiving genuine Nalini, Santini or Giordana.
