On Saturday, November 4, BVVW members lead by the soon to beat town omnipotent despot, toured Prospect Park, ate and drank hot chocolate at the Connecticut Muffin (wha?) and visited framebuilder Johnny Coast of Coast Cycles. Here's the day in pitchas, um that is pictures.

We met at the usual spot, The Grecian, took about a half a dozen to a dozen laps around the park, and generally enjoyed the clear, 50 degree autumn weather. Before heading over to Johnny Coast's, we stopped off at the Connecticut Muffin for cocoa, coffee and muffins. The bakery is located right outside the main entrance to the park at the roundabout. Good stuff!

Riding with us today was: Left coast Pergolizzi (ex-Jackie Simes chrome Paramount track bike) Michael Lebron (A. Waller) Matt Bowne (Tommasini from the mid 80's) Josh "Doc" Berger (Legnano) Mike Schmidt (Alex Singer) Chris (Stowe) Chris is friends with Matt Bowne and I did not get his last name. Taliah Lampert (Bianchi) and Steve Klein (Bike Friday) met us at Johnny Coast's

BVVW would like to thank Johnny for his time and his interesting shop tour. Johnny has his website set up so have a look here. http://www.coastouttabrooklyn.com/

The next BVVW meeting will be at Michael Lebron's place. Details to follow. Upcoming BVVW events: "The Swannie River Tour of Centerport Long Island A weekend afternoon in Connecticut with Pierre Wiggle

Exact dates to be determined but they will happen so youse New Englanders and Long Guylenders pay attention.
