No Doubt, some of you know all of Campagnolo's torch requirements by memory. I was fortuneate enough to be the first person ever, to break the factory-set locknut-to-cones on two occasions for servicing of Record hubs. In both cases, the torch required to break this set was significant. I reasoned that the goal is to minimize compression when the skewers are vised down ("on"), hence reducing bearing clearence variants.
It would seem that to reassemble to factory specifications, one MUST know AND impliment the torch requirements from those who know best, There maker ---Al bow and hail our GOD, "Campagnolo". "Praise be to thy creator of pure joy!!" VIVA VINCENZA!!
Please share what you know on hubs, though just maybe there's a down loadable answer somewhere? In fact, any jtorch figures that can be shared would be great. Head set spects, bottom brackets, even seat binder bolt. Catalog #18 show a picture of a technician using what appearst to be a pneumatic allen drive for installing chain ring bolts. Is this jig/fixture dialed in to a specitic torch? I guess the tech, isn't using his muscle and a torch wrench?
