I have a few new ones here, so I'm looking right at one. The rubber is actually just a simple pair of rings, used in tandem (i.e., they both originate on the main body, and insert on the clip), I imagine to create better tension. You probably could find a vacuum belt near this size, but I don't know if they are available as supple as the original. Some other small motor belt of some sort?

What about O-ring? These people seem to have a lot of stuff in that department: http://www.marcorubber.com/

...and here is their O-ring sizing chart: http://www.marcorubber.com/sizingchart.htm

Anyone ever found an appropriate replacement for those thick black rubber bands on the Zeus tubular tire carriers? A couple of mine have the rubber broken - they seem to deteriorate fairly quickly. I suppose generic jumbo rubber bands might work, but I was wondering if anyone has found something which looks more like the original.
