This looks very much like a mid-to-late model Lejeune..but it would be difficult to actually pin down the year..as Lejeune were perpetually bringing out new models to boost trade.

The chainset and the brake stirrups are SPIDEL (Stronglight, possibly 107 model) and are possibly not original as Lejeune tended to use a lot of Campag.

The bike can be collected from Melun, which is a town about 30 minutes away from Maison-Alfort where Lejeune had their factory. Ironically I passed through Melun late last saturday afternoon!!!. The sller will also take the bike to the Puisseaux bike JUmble . This is a very well known event and one of France's largest. The town is about 45 mins SW of Paris.

I have a close friend who lives near to Melun and who might actually be goig to the Puisseaux Jumble..so a collection might be possible.

I met a French seller the other day who has connected up with one of the Lejeune brothers to attempt to get the low-down on the history of the Sauvage-Lejeune link-up.
