It baffles me why it would bother you or anybody else, especially on this list where we would all be considered a bit nuts by the majority of the US population, that somebody spends a lot of money on a custom bicycle. It seems to me that this trend in spending will certainly trickle down to the benefit of the KOF builders and bike shop owners who sell off-the-rack high end bicycles, who need people to buy their product in order to for their businesses to survive. I hope that for every one person who buys one of those $10K to $23K bikes, there are two or more who order bikes from the likes of KOF builders.
