Hello Sean and all,

Most of the sellers on Yahoo Auctions Japan will not ship internationally. Their system in Japan is different as payment is usually made through bank transfers from the Japanese version of Yahoo Wallet. US registered Yahoo Wallet doesn't work there. The Japanese sellers usually dispatch items the same day with a courier service (hopefully a bike courier!) so the seller has the convenience of not going to the post office. Maybe that's reason enough not to sell internationally! You can register on Yahoo Auctions Japan with a bit of work but you can't register to sell over there unless you have a Japanese bank account. I know - I tried! The best thing to do is register and then ask for permission to bid and for a shipping quote and if they will accept PayPal.

Cheers, Peter Schwar in a very slippery and ice covered Montreal, Canada
