That's likely due to the fact that he said "It's WAY to small for my wife or myself..." at the bottom of the original post. That being said, 'ride it as is' is usually my first step when I have something I can fit.

Personally, I'd say, part it out and use the funds for a project (rider or wall hanger) that fits. My personal experience says that hanging on to bikes that you can't ride just means the space you have gets filled up too fast, and the time spent on project bikes you can't experience seems a waste. But that's just my opinion.
