Yeah, I'm with you John. Here in Los Angeles I'm seeing lots of old and new track bikes on the streets, with brake, without brake. Yes, not exaggerating, lots of track bikes on the streets.

And $3500 for a very cool, RARE and desirable Cinelli pista isn't much bread when current bikes are topping $8000 now days.

Guys buying these track bikes are young and not weighted down by old guy "sticker shock" baggage. It's all good! Are these guys "worthy"... who cares! They are the new guys that show support for the Rose Bowl vintage ride by coming out and riding.
