And I think Ted is one of the handful. Wasn't he recently inducted into a US cycling hall of fame? Maybe I should qualify my earlier remarks to say that very few riders today can stop a fixed gear bike with no brake as quickly as required for safety on the roads. I certainly can't. So we should leave such things to Ted and the few who can do it effectively. I'll fit a brake or stay on the velodrome. And if you're in Big Spring, TX, the closest velodrome is 500 miles away.
