Just got back to the computer to find over 15 or more letters about the Eisentraut either sent offlist to me or to the group. I'll post my thoughts later tonight after going over all the letters, but I'm off to my new Restaurant Joanne (my wife) and I've purchased in Port Washington, WI. It's a pretty nice & cozy place, but needs a lot a sweat equity, paint etc.
Just got in from the UK, a totally unrestored and completely original 1947 Hetchin's Super Special. I was lucky to find this one and owe a fellow CR member for a tip that lead to my acquiring this wonderful machine. The Super Special was a one owner, and came to me from the original owners son who inherited it when his father passed on. The bike needs quite a bit of cleaning, so I'll get jpgs on Wool Jersey once I've cleaned her off.
