The way I remeber it is that the wing nuts have a coarser thread than the screws. I would have to do some serious digging to see if I still have a set of the wing-nut levers in the dungeon. Can you wait a fortnight? I'm about to go on a 2 weeks long business trip.

But there must be someone else out there with a mid-1970s Valentino equipped bicycle. That's why I have a set of the wing-nut levers.
