O.K., I have been guilty of having a 'short fuse' when it comes to my usage of internet communication media such as this list, so I'll declare myself 'guilty' before I preceed!

The topic of lacking civility in these somewwhat anonymous modes of communication is nothing new, but it has been suggested that it is a growing trend, and that worries me personally as an indication of a general decline of manners.

I just read an article in the NYT by David Pogue ( see ) where he wrote about this very subject, and a lot of interesting

In other words, don't get disillusioned by the odd nasty comment -
