Bob Freitas found an amazing story:

Hes replaced the fork, top tube ,down tube ,stays , paint and decals BOB FREITAS MILL VALLEY,CA USA

http://ebay.com/<blah>

This beats our record, because of all the brazing required to fix what was obviously a crashed bike (fork, top tube, down tube). Our record was a beloved Schwinn Town & Country Tandem from about 1950. By the time it moved on to another list member, only the fork was original: Schwinn had replaced the rusted-out frame, under warranty. But, I'd done my part: vertical rear drops (15.5" wheelbase) to fit 700c wheels, and lots of tiddly bits brazed on for cable runs, disc brake anchor, etc. Ah, those were the days!
