Like I've mentioned before, Eddy is "IN" his bike. However, if you look close, I think this is a posed publicity foto. He is Mr. Clean with the Clean Machine. His finger is on each brake handle and I never saw anyone in a full sprint getting ready to brake unless they were about to plow into something. His facial expression doesn't show this panic emotion. There is no crowd, and full out in a timetrial it's difficult to hold that position for too long as it appoaches anerobic effort. His other picture where he his on his levers with arms bent at 90 degrees is a far better actual action shot. All this talk about fit and top tubes, could lead me to give you a discourse on positions, levers, bars, seat, etc., but that would take an hour or two in a seminar situation, and I'm not going to write a book on the CR to give you my take on what I see and think. As much as I love you guys and gals, I'll get writer's cramp. Now it's off to some champagne sipping. Cold, dry, brut is the only way to appreciate the nectar of the gods.
