My friend Nigel Land is continuing to research material for his book on the history of Elswick-Hopper. He has a copy of a letter from E-H in 1960 to Araldite discussing the results of tests on Araldite bonded frames. He has no idea when the first commercial frames were glued but wondered if list members could help. E-H found that tests gave good strength results though inferior to brazing. There is no follow up letter and so he suspects the trials were dropped.
