Since many have put comments in I'll add my two cents.

I have a Giro Tour Woodrup a 1983 model. I purchased it at the first Cirque du Cyclisme

in Greensboro. I loved the ride and decided to have it "fixed up". The frame had some rust

and the shifter was made for the down tube top mount Suntour shifters. I was in Arizona and

stopped at Tempe Cycles and talked to Colin Lang. He suggested I contact Woodrup

Using the address in the book (and I hope the title is close) "Custom Cycles" I wrote them

and to shorten the story; the bike was sent to them reworked. rechromed, repainted, decaled and returned

They sent pictures of the rework as requested and this was a great experience. Maurice's son had taken

over and I corresponded with his Granddaughter. They where very helpful.

They have a web page.
