I think your formula needs some adjustment. Shouldn't we multiply by the age of the rider and elevation change rather than divide? Otherwise the older you get and greater the elevation change, the less macho you are when riding a fixed gear.

macho = ((chainring teeth)*(age)*(elevation change))/(cog teeth)
