Actually per my earlier post I have most definitely used Retrofriction brazeon levers on POS Prestige clamps. At least two sets, and I think three. It is all very confusing, but I believe the Retrofriction brazeons don't fit Retrofriction clamps even if you can find some.
I know the brazeon Retrofrictions must fit a Campy brazeon post, because I've fitted them on frames with such. So I can only conclude the Prestige clamp, at least the ones I have, must have been the same psot diameter as Campy, even though other better Simplex clamps were not. This doesn't seem to make any sense, but then many things Simplex didn't make any sense. Perhaps the Retrofriction brazeons or the Prestige clamps or both came in different diameters. All I know is the combination worked 2 or 3 times for me. So just try it and see.

Post Diameters: ------------------- pos = 9mm
Retro = 8 mm
Post lengths: --------------- pos = 8mm long - and perfectly round out to the tips
Retro = 15mm long - and with two flats - to hold the outer friction ring in place (like a normal Campy, etc) filed out of the last few mm.
And... unfortunately, even the "better" among the Simplex standard friction levers used the same posts as their most wimpy plastic levers.
{ En Francais, would they be referred to as "P. des M." levers? }

I thought this had been answered before but after an hour reading the
archives, I could not find it.
Question:
I need a set of clamp on Simplex RF shifters, but seem to only find the
braze on version. Can you mount braze on retrofriction shifters using
the band from the POS Delrin plastic shifters? Thanks.....
