My apology for interrupting the more pertinent discussions with a whacky question:
What would be the riding results of attaching two (of course on topic) bikes together by removing the front wheel and spreading the fork on one, and attaching it to the rear dropout of a front bike, say with a long shaft with appropriate spacers, nuts, etc. going through the hub and freewheel, or maybe using fixed gears. Would the impromptu tandem set up be ridable, or would the rear bike possibly squirrel around and jackknife? Possibly locking the headset on the rear bike would give more desirable results? Just a wonderin'....
Thanks for considerations.
