I think that basicly, this has been stated pretty well already, but for myself, I sometimes think that someone has gone a little off the deep end when I see what they were willing to pay for a bike. However, when I zero in on one and start to think about all the fun I'm going to have both riding and looking at it, well I tend to..ah...go "off the deep end" in terms of what I amount I justify as spendable. I'm guilty of a double standard I know. I've just put down a heavy one for an old Everest track bike being auctioned over here, ending in ten minutes.
