I think this harks back to the beginning--the riding example then was the horse.Is it any wonder that the English 3speed puts you in the fox&hound tally-ho or the true American bicycle--the Columbia paperboy(ballooner) has the same ridding position as a western cowboy throwing a rope on a calf.Europians race throughbreads,right."Up on the peg",as Mick might say.We take what is the best and blend it to our fashion.
