Reminds me of a 1951 Buick Roadmaster I once had, would be cool to ride on a HOT day. PLUS , re bike Nationality, I have now, after flogging the 60 Claud, 1937 Claud track, 1938 Claud Road Path with neat drop outs, 1950 Mercian R/P, to show at LeCirque, 1951 Bates BAR Dia tubing etc, and NOW the bike I ride every day 1945-54???? Vittoria, Orig Paint etc, Made in Italy!!! rides like a dream smooth and real good hill climber, and OldBrit with an Italian Bike!!! but I do have to admit it is a jewell, mabye someday my New Mercian Vincitore will arrive, there was also talk about handbuilt frames, whats wrong with Mercian, or Hetchins still builds, plus several other Brit builders, nothing against all the GOOD Yankee builders, but wasnt it said that thers will allways be an England, (As Long as America can afford it) or should it be Japan!!! Have to go now and bid on some things Hilary has listed, Cheers John Crump Oldbrit, Parker Co.USA
