Somehow I've settled on Dutch Bikes as what I want to collect, not sure why. One of the things I've noticed is that there is a handling characteristic that seems to run in all of them, that is quick to turn, dives into corners and just a smidge twitchy. Freek Faro and I have discussed this and he attributes that to "Dutch Criterium" geometry, and possibly to the 10 3/8 bottom bracket height. Italian bikes have always struck me as racy as in Ferarri, with design flourishes that border on overdone (i.e. Tommasini), and I mean that in a good way. English bikes, prior to my joining this list and having my eyes opened I always thought of as rather staid, great but nothing special (then I learned of Hetchins, Hobbs etc.).
Recently there was a post with a link to a UK shop that had campy spare parts for Delta Brakes. Does anyone have that link (or know the shop name?) I believe owner might be list member? FWIW the bike is a KOF dutch builder.
