Micks post from snowy Scotland brought back memorys, in Brum, we raced as he said in Early AM we wore BLACK and moore black, helped Mom with the washing never showed the dirt and sweat!!!! even now at my age K17 and K14 comes to mind as the # for the corses I mainly raced on. OFF SUBJECT, Campag emblems, I have buily up my Vittoria 1950s ??? frame with Campag Gran Sport, gears, my front gear has the World logo,So I assume this is a late 50s or 60s gear??? I have the Campag Cat#12 that I assume is from 1953 and page 13 arroused my interest (which is about that gets arroused these days) Page13 shows pen drawing of a front gear the complete one has the WORLD logo??? down below is a drawing of a cage for the gear with a WING logo??? this is the same in cat#13, So Chuck when did Campag stop usuning the WING logo and start with the World logo, or #1 did the artist?? have his logos mixed up, #2 is the Cats#12 and 13 fake and done later?? or #3 Is Tom Cruse going to marry the preg bird (brod), (Just seeing if you are paying attention,) does anyone have any answers to the logo, to me mistery??? both front pages of the cats have the World logo, BUT does this mean that a Gransport with World logo clould be a early 50s gear. ONE on Ebay was sold a while back for BIG bucks by a Italian dealer,HAD the WING logo, Cheers, John Crump OldBrit, Sunny Warm Parker, Co. USA
