I'm pretty sure Schwinn didn't buy the name. Schwinn set up a distribution arrangement with their dealers and got something for the arrangement. I know this didn't happen within the list's time line. I don't know if these bikes are grand fathered in under the KOF clause. They might be but you never know given the unpredictable whims of our benevolent leader. :-)
