Happich Simichrome. Someone mentioned Mother's (available in UK?). I've done a side-by-side comparison and prefer Simichrome. Simichrome is imported from Germany, so I'm guessing it's probably available in the UK.

Some have said it's hard to find. I buy mine at a local motorcycle shop.

BTW, it's even good for polishing the rivets on Brooks saddles and brass presta valve stems (for the truly anal).
