Jerry,
Your's is a road frame? (Sorry, I lost your original post)I . I know of four models of 3Rensho road frames, though there seems to be some carry over from track models sometimes made into road bikes. The Katana model is probably the most basic design, but the ones I've seen have a fast-back stay, as well with the Aero SRA. The Cyclone "standard" model had capped stays, as did the "athlete". All his frames tended to be fairly basic looking, except when he used curved tubes and utilized some unusual geometry on the time trial bikes. He was an innovator, but also employed restraint, an old Nihonjin quality. Some folks refer to his frames as the "Export" model, but that was just a decal he put on frames that went abroad. I'm thinking about selling my 3Rensho track frame, it certainly is stiff.
