You all that use chemicals to clean your parts need to come out of the stone age! Chemicals leave a film on the part that will break down the new lubricant that is so lovingly applied.

YES! Its time for you all to step up to the age of the UltraSonic Cleaner. All you have to do is use warm water and liquid soap made for these systems and let sound do the rest. Your parts will come out looking like new and best of all..... Your body won't ingest all those nasty chemicals thru your skin!

So that's why when I ate dinner over at Dale's place I ended up eating my soup with a brake lever, just glad it wasn't drilled.
For my money, the best degreaser is gasoline, though expedience may take precedent over intelligence here.
