Years ago I had a batch of "squeeze type" fixed cup tools made up to my specs and heat treated. I probably have 20 or so left (if I had any sense I would put them on ebay).

I've used my tool to remove hundreds of these plain fixed cuts (a big part of my business was resprays so the cups HAD to come out). I've broken maybe two of my tools in all that time but the fixed cups ALL came out.

I used a GOOD bench vise used with an 18" Crescent wrench to keep the cup from turning and then turned the frame to unscrew the cup. It always worked for me!
