Mike- I'm not sure what the scam is. They might possibly learn your PayPal e-mail address if you respond to the 'question', but without your PayPal password, what good is it?

On a separate note, I always thought it was a good idea to have a dedicated PayPal account that has only a small amount of money in it, and use it only for PayPal transactions. I have read posts from eBayers (do not know if they are true or not) that if there is a screw up, they are hard to deal with. And since there is not a local branch to march into or a phone number (that I am aware of) to raise heck, you are on the short end of the stick and in a bad position to sort things out.

I just received this. It is a scam in the guise of a an ebay member asking a seller a question. A creative ploy, don' t you think? Since I

have nothing for sale at the moment, a big red flag went up. But many members have stuff on ebay so before youse sign in, beware.
