I've gotten more than a few of these. The tip-off for me is that although the messages begin with the line "Your registered name is included to show this message originated from eBay," my eBay registered name is never actually included.
I think the intent is to trick you into revealing your eBay name and password, which can then be used to launch bogus auctions with your presumably good feedback rating. As a bonus, they may be able to exploit your PayPal account if you were foolish enough to use the same password there.
