2-1) Austro - Daimler Ultima SL (Superleight), 55.25cm seat x 56.5cm top (c-c). Frameset only, I believe this was their top of the line model, with Reynolds 531 PROFESSIONAL (red label) tubing from approx. 1982. Smoked or gold chrome finish shows a good amount of use, but still looks quite attractive to me. The chrome in the tough to reach spots around the b.b. shell shows the typical lack of endurance. Under b.b. cable guides, d/t shift and w/b bosses, top tube brake cable clips, integrated seat binder with included chromed Sugino bolt. Recessed brake mounting, 129.75mm rear spacing can be compressed to 126, or expanded to accommodate a modern spread. FACTORY DRILLED Campagnolo dropouts also have the holes for the Campy Portacatena shifting mechanism, English threading, relieved under b.b. shell. Downtube decals must have a copper content, and have oxidized green in some areas, in addition to the normal loss associated with use. Seat tube decals have faded significantly, but are still completely visible in the right light. No bends, dents, notable dings, etc. Cleaned ... $250.00
