Black was one of the Bianchi colors so It wouldn't be out of character however, ALL Black. Which Celeste color are you refering to...the Italian Navy primer color which was a green with a lot of yellow or the Faux Celeste which is the bluish Celeste, a moderne color more pleasing to the consumer. There was also a Bianchi Team color that was an outrageous Salmon color that is extremely rare. I almost bought one from Oscar Jeuner in 1967. You should contact Ed Litton from Richmond, Ca who specializes in restoring Bianchis to perfect condition. He may be able to help with the paint issue. I am going to have my Bianchi Pista restored to the original Celeste with red decals some time this next year. I need to save up my allowance first. -- Don Keenan Boulder, CO 303-530-4033
