Greetings, Nic and CR mates---
Fab link, Nic! I had been wondering if there were any moving images of those halcyon days of British cycle touring. As I was born 30 years too late and on other soil it makes me want to hop in a time machine and go back there. I've seen many reports of the Cyclists Special train in my old CTC Gazettes, but a film? Brilliant! Tell me, is the film available commercially (or otherwise) in a format playable in the States [dvd or ntsc video tape]?
And what is that georgeous cycle with the chromium-plated head tube in the third row of photos on page three (just after the chap sipping typically British fizzy lemonade)? Is that a Claud Butler badge, or something else? Can't tell on my monitor. Any guesses, anyone?
