The bottom bracket on the Zeus I am restoring has me puzzled. It would appear to be French by the thread direction of the fixed and adjustable cup. BUT the lock ring will not go on the French tap. I ran a French campagnolo cup set in but very loose. The Zeus one that was original the adjustable cup was very tight. So tight that I broke a pin in my sugino wrench.
Any thoughts on what is just right?
