The Gino Bartali museum is scheduled to open tomorrow, April 1st. The Gazetta dello Sport article said that there will be 60 bikes on display (including a 1935 Gozzi Milano track bike it reported), 800 books, 500 historic photographs, 250 jerseys and more.

Of course, there is also some drama. Present will be his son, Luigi, who ha s lead the museum project. However, Gino Bartali's wife, Adriana, and his other son, Andrea, will not be attending.

Last week there was a new movie shown, two parts/two nights,on RAI based on Gino Bartali's life. I missed it but apparently it had a huge viewing audience (7,500,000 viewers).

The Bartali museum website is: http://www.ciclomuseo-bartali.it/index.html
