Jerry et al.

I'm going to be the dissenting voice here. I've been using the Tufo gluing tape for about 2 years now and while the stuff works great sometimes it's a pain in the butt. Living in Texas I've noticed that the glue softens in the heat (the regular not the extreme) and when removing the tires it leaves a soft gummy residue on the rim, not as easy to clean up as glue. The other the problem I've had is the tape/glue being squeezed out from under the tire. Again this might be heat related but when pumping up to about 120 psi some of the tape/glue was squeezed out from under the tire (both sides?) this when caught on brakes it did a remarkable job of smearing glue on the braking surface of the rim.

I really like some of the Tufo Tires but I'm going back to good old mastik

Deda Tre offers a gumwall tubular similiar in profile/weight to the conti sprinter. I haven't used them yet but not having those garrish logo's is a big plus in my book.
