Actually, a list member (can't remember who at this instant) was making some thin pedal washers like TA out of stainlsss steel. I bought some, very nice. As Chuck says, though, it would take quite a stack of them to do the job here.

The TA pedal washers are the only ones I know of and they are very very thin. Even two per pedal aren't going to keep the pedal thread from pushing out the pedal hole caps. I'd grind the end of the pedal threads shorter (enough to clear the caps).
