OK Don, and listmembers, I should not have characterized another CR member as a "punk." I'd like to retract that slur, with full apologies to Don Wilson. Bicycles aren't the high-ticket item to which the fast-spending, ultra-rich are drawn to, anyway. $5000-$7000 custom bicycles are still bicycles. For the right Persian Princess -- yeah -- the lug-work should double or triple the price. If I made it, she'd mostly be paying me to nightdream, recorded in steel. But since there's little to no chance of me making it, the Princess should shop around and in the process I suggest she get her kicks on a Schwinn Panther, as I plan to do when I can afford the $500 cost. Later, lugheads Joe Starck Madison, Wisconsin
