Subject: [CR]Trailer Park Swap Report in San Jose

I went to the "Trailer Park Swap" in San Jose yesterday and it was nothing but junk. It's the same guys at all of these things still trying to sell what they didn't sell at the previous 14 swap meets.

It was no secret as to why these Bozos couldn't or I should say would not sell their stuff..............they had it priced through the roof.

One guy had two old, grimy, used, Stronglight 93 chainrings in a bag. I asked how much he wanted for them. He said $50.00. I really had to bite my tongue in order to refrain from telling him he was out of his mind.

These sellers think they are real slick with their click top plastic bins full of junk and would have you believe there was gold somewhere down in the bottom.

But the reality was that every single bin I "dug" through was full of OFF-TOPIC mountain bike stuff and O-T newer road stuff.

One seller had three tables of self-proclaimed treasures (all O-T) and was blasting heavy metal music............and he wondered why no one was looking at his stuff.

If you missed the trailer town swap, you didn't miss anything.

I ate at KFC at it was a bummer because this old war hero was in there having what appeared to be an conversation turned full-blown argument with a napkin dispenser.
