Various kind CR members clued me in on the glut of these brakes in better shape, but I'm NOT going to put these in the aluminum/aluminium bin, dammit -- I promised my bike parts I'd treat them right if they treat me right, and I like these brakes. So: Free for the shipping (FFTS, let's try that acronym): Front and rear Mafac "Racer" centerpull brakes. Red plastic bushings, nothing special. Condition: used, with a couple minor nicks that could be filed out. Flat spot on threads of on one mounting bolt will need a little filing. They have the straddle cables, mounting bolts, curved doodads; missing 1 mounting nut. Everything appears straight, no slop. Dirty; I got these used, never needed/tried them. Sorry, don't have levers. In Ebay parlance for search engines, not Masi equipment.
Unrelated question: do I recall some kind of parts swap in the San Jose, CA area this next weekend (Apr 29, 30). Or am I remembering the one that got panned recently that I missed?
