HI , us cycle guys should have [and need ] more than one, in my stable, favourites include ROTRAX 1956,Shirley.531 DE ROSA COLUMBUS classic PEUGOUT LUGGED VITUS STEEL. LE JEUNE TEAM REPLICA.. ALAN ALLOY BONDED.. FRENCH CARBON R.B.E. off topic RALEIGH WELDED TITANIUM. off topic. COLNAGO MASTER OLYMPIC off topic. RALEIGH Randonneur. 708 tubed off topic. I hope i offended no one with the O/T items BUT as i like a few of the modern machines , it just brings me back when you remount the old ROTRAX. to my mind there are few English 50,s frames that ride as well. What have i started here?? Willie Carton from a decidedly spring like Coleraine co. Londonderry, N.Ireland 12 degrees and climbing..

I have 4 favorites from across the globe:
Japan
Nagasawa Strada Special {Purchased after Sanders bought the Sachs.. we both won on that deal}
Italy
Tommasini {IMHO...the most underated builder in the world}
United States
Twin mid '80s Richard Sachs Signatures.{One with Super Record and the other with Shimano 9 speed gear}
All of the above meet my aesthetic for uncomplicated Italian style and very stable road manners.
