The River City Show is taking shape with more announcements to come in the following weeks, and to coincide with our show, a local Milwaukee based cycling club that I've joined, Cream City Cycle Club stages thier yearly Century with the starting and ending points at Waterford Highschool, the shows location. For folks who are interested in attending both events, we've changed the shows starting time from 9:00AM to 10:00AM so that riders can take part in thier ride of choice and still be able to take in our show.
There are three rides that Cream City runs that day, Sunday August 27th, a thirty five miles, sixty five miles and the century. The rides will begin very early with registration the day of the rides, but preregistration is preferred if possible. The event is one Cream City has put on for a number of years, is well run with staffed rest stops every 16 miles, with snacks including home baked goodies at each stop, and dinners served at the rides end from 11:00AM to 6:00PM. The rides trails through scenic areas of Wisconsin, with modest hills, and lots of smooth riding. For more information about the ride, click onto the URL below. If you are interested in riding please email me offlist and I will forward a registration form to you.
