If one reveals tricks of the trade, can they still be considered tricks?

Good question but who are we kidding... you guys all seem to find th is stuff anyway. The only real coup I remember around here was more than a year ago when someone wrote in that they had bought a '66 Jack Taylor road

bike, complete and original, for $460 and was that a good price and where he could get it repainted (!).. Now that hurt. And hopefully he came to his senses re. the repainting. A total of 23 hits on the auction or some s uch absurd number indicating it was listed under Livestock or something.

Anyway... my main tip for searches for quality lightweights:

"Reynolds 531" in "All Categories" and be sure to tick "In Name AND Description"

Of course you could substitute Reynolds 753, Columbus SL or Vitus and get the same eclectic results.

The search I want to work more than anything is

"Simplex" under the "I don't ship to Japan for love or money" category.
