Go Ken and Dale, I agree fully. I am in the middle of a purchase from Europe right now and it is not what I would consider an easy or painless transaction. Besides the money conversion aspect which is a pain in the butt alone. My seller chose to use DHL to which I say never again. I have used virtually every carrier out there even some private ones. None are as inept or difficult as DHL. None are as costly and caused me more trouble to receive. In fact I have received probably over 60 bikes by mail from several parts of the world and I can tell you DHL is the worst. I hope someone connected with them is somehow part of this forum so they can understand what their customers think of them. The bike has been in the country for a week now and I have still not seen it. I am told that maybe next Mon or Tue. I guess kissing their @$$ is part of the deal. Not to mention that I will have to go to them to pick it up, I guess delivery for a few hundred dollars is to much to ask. And no not my local international airport that is two miles away but good old JFK which is an hours drive in the best of time with $16 in tolls awaiting me for the privelage. No one should complain about Fed X or UPS after this rant. I will also seriously reconsider any full bike purchases from Europe from now on. Just to much trouble. Shame they have such nice bikes there but not worth the hassle for an individual buyer.
