John, Is the bike stand located next to the area where the town cops park and have their coffee & donuts? If not, I would not get too stylish. In fact if the bike was halfway decent, I would wrap the frame in black tape. Come to Cirque in June. I can almost guarentee, you'll find exactly what you are looking for on the Sunday Swap.
How about a nice vintage Raleigh 3 speed with 650A tires. It's black, stylish but not too flashy. Or a Black Schwinn Light weight Racer mens black all cleaned up and ready to go 1970 for 150.00 Throw some modern lighting on the bike or bettter yet affix it to your helmet. Steve Willis at the Bike Stand has a few used bikes like this one in his shop that may be available. http://www.thebikestand.com
Bottom line is the bike is exposed to weather and theft so don't get too nuts or attached to the bike.
