Subject: [CR]Hetchins Air-Flow Forks on April 1st

Now then, Martin, what you have to ask yourself is "Would I really play that sort of trick on the List members?" Could I possibly have surpassed the Confente scam?

Secondly.."Do I have sufficient creative genuis to string along such a line?" I wish...!

I must admit that I had expected a greater response to my topic than that which it received , to such an extent that I am wondering if Frank, the only other member who responded, was actually spinning a little April 1st jape in his own way, and at my expense. Wow...very intriguing!

I had responded to his question about the unorthodox Hetchins fork, assuming that it was a genuine enquiry and, and you might find this a little bit difficult to swallow...but my reply about the Hetchins "Air-Flow" fork was...Yes..100% genuine.

The frame and the fork were REAL..and the chat with Alf did take place ..and YES..the reply I quoted was TRUE..

So come on you Hetchinsphiles..what is your take on this Air-Flow business.? I suppose that eight or nine forks out of Hetchins total production is approaching 0%..and I assume that almost everyone who saw such a fork would have jumped to the same conclusion that I did...head-on shunt..and I suppose that all of the forks ended up in scrap metal bin...

Is this going to be the most unsolvable mystery of recent times..?
