Let´s start with the Joke of the Day: Today´s local newspaper carried a small ad for an "original Renault racing cycle, older model". That will
give occasion to a whole new thread of discussion on French bikes, I guess.
Next, the Colnago. I scored a c. 1998 Master Più on Monday and wonder
if there´s anyone who might answer a few questions, like what the real
age of the thing is, if the frame number can really be "C29", or if this is the builder´s mark, and so on. If there´s a Colnago cognoscento willing to enter into a private discussion, please don´t send photos as I´m still on slow dial-up internet. Thanks.
Lastly, there´s a ca. 1984 Batavus Professional frameset for sale. Frame´s 531, well, Professional, 52 cm c/t, cream and blue coloured with a lot of chrome in the usual places and on the whole front fork. The thing has done some work, a few scratches here and there, but is ok, without any structural damage. Price will be 125 US-Dollars, plus shipping at cost which might cost about 50 more US-Dollars from here in
Germany, surface. Just don´t ask about airfreight; the frame won´t be worth it. Also don´t ask about PayPal, I don´t have it, and will accept payment in cash after you´ve seen the frame in person.
