I think the list is a valuable resource for those of us into keeping the old bikes alive, so I say keep the selling exchanges going! Having said that, I think that most of the exchanges happen between those who are on their computers most of the time and get their messages as they are posted. I get my list in digest mode, which is my choice, but I discovered long ago that by the time I am able to respond to for sale ads, the goods are gone. Perhaps this is what Sergio was frustrated with as well. I know I have spoken with other digest mode list folk, and it's a more common than you would think frustration.

Sometimes the self promotion of e-bay outings is a bit much, but that's just my opinion, and you know what "they" say about opinions....... :-)

I do think that overall it's a great group and everyone seems to look out after each other, which is what this is all about, right?
